Tom Brady Teases NFL Return in Cryptic Post After Stefon Diggs' Fanatics Flag Football Classic TD
Tom Brady teased a return to the NFL on social media after finding Stefon Diggs for a touchdown during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on Saturday.
"Gets you thinking..." Brady wrote in a post responding to the highlight video on X.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion hasn't appeared in the league since the 2022 season, spending the past two years as an NFL broadcast analyst for Fox Sports.
Brady is also a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
He initially retired from the NFL after the 2021 season, but announced that he'd be returning for one more year just under two months later.
Brady's legendary career includes 15 Pro Bowl nods, three MVP awards and two Offensive Player of the Year honors. He sits at No. 1 on the NFL's all-time passing yards list, completions list and passing touchdowns leaderboard.
While Brady is several years removed from his latest retirement, he showed some of the accuracy and timing that defined his NFL tenure on Saturday.
He finished 6-of-8 for 61 yards and two touchdowns during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic (h/t Diamond Leung of the Las Vegas Review-Journal).
While Brady returning to the NFL at 48 years old isn't likely, his flag football performance had him reminiscing about his playing days.
