Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Wilson is heading into the 2026 season in the final year of his three-year contract with the Cardinals.
He appeared in just eight games of the 2025 campaign before he was sidelined by a rib injury and replaced in the lineup by rookie linebacker Cody Simon.
Wilson started out his NFL career wearing No. 51 for three seasons with the Cleveland Browns before later donning Nos. 30 for the New England Patriots. He took on No. 3 for the 2023 season after the NFL relaxed positional jersey rules.
The linebacker took on No. 2 after signing with the Cardinals ahead of the 2024 season.
He will now become the 10th player in Cardinals history to wear No. 1 for the franchise, and the fifth since 2000 alongside Murray and kickers Cedric Oglesby, Neil Rackers and Matthew McCrane.
Murray wore No. 1 for all seven of his seasons in Arizona prior to his release earlier this month. The quarterback is keeping the same number with the Vikings after signing with Minnesota in free agency.
