Quinn's Return Gives Rams A Top Pass-Rushing Talent
Explosive off the line, Quinn is one of the best in the league when it comes to getting around the edge quickly in order to get to the quarterback.
It's difficult to think that after 2014—when he recorded 10.5 sacks—Quinn is looking for even more improvement. But with a second straight Pro Bowl selection following a 19-sack season in 2013, Quinn has been his own biggest critic, setting high expectations for himself before the injury.
"I have to push myself to start faster, do whatever I can to figure it out and, I don’t know, maybe get 20 [sacks]—or whatever the number may be," he said, per Myles Simmons of the team's official site. "I just set my bar so high, that way I can constantly continue to reach. And if I reach it, I guess I have to push myself a little bit more."
Quinn's been doing just that, recording five sacks in his first seven games of 2015. The defensive end is one of the league's top talents, and his return will boost the Rams' ability to pressure the quarterback.
