B/R's WR1 Jordyn Tyson Talks Browns, Giants as NFL Draft Landing Spots in Video

Jordyn Tyson, who is the No. 1 wide receiver prospect on the latest big board from B/R's NFL Scouting Department, could have his eye on a couple of potential landing spots as the 2026 draft approaches.

During a Monday interview on SportsCenter, the Arizona State product said playing for the Cleveland Browns "wouldn't be too bad" (4:10 mark). The Browns have the No. 6 overall pick, and his brother, Jaylon, plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He was also asked about potentially teaming up with college teammate Cam Skattebo and the New York Giants at the No. 5 overall pick and said, "That would be really nice. They've got a nice young core there, they have good defense and good offense. A lot of weapons, a lot of playmakers. I feel like I could fit right in, for sure."

Notably, B/R's Scouting Department projected the Giants to take Miami offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa at No. 5 and the Browns to take Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano at No. 6 in its latest mock draft.

Tyson went No. 16 to the New York Jets as the second wide receiver taken following Ohio State's Carnell Tate at No. 8 to the New Orleans Saints.

It could be a battle between Tyson and Tate to be the top wide receiver come draft day, and the big board listed the Arizona State playmaker as the most pro-ready with the Buckeye star as the best route-runner with the best hands.

Tyson was certainly productive during his time at Arizona State, including when he helped lead the team to the College Football Playoff with 1,101 receiving yards and 10 touchdown catches during the 2024 campaign.

That was the season he played alongside Skattebo, who finished fifth in Heisman Trophy voting before the Giants selected him in the fourth round of the 2025 draft.

With Skattebo, Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers and new head coach John Harbaugh, the future looks bright for New York. Tyson seems well aware of that list of playmakers and was open to joining them come draft day.
