Brandon Nimmo Gifts Rolex to Michael Helman on Video for Rangers Jersey Number Swap After Mets Trade

Texas Rangers veteran outfielder Brandon Nimmo made a kind gesture to one of his new teammates.

Nimmo, who was traded to the Rangers from the New York Mets over the offseason, posted a video of him gifting outfielder Michael Helman with a "Bruce Wayne" Rolex watch for swapping his jersey No. 24 after the trade.

Helman, a 2018 draft pick who has played in 47 career major-league games, was blown away by the gift from Nimmo.

"Dude," Helman said in a video. "I appreciate you. You didn't have to do that."

Nimmo, who's in the midst of an eight-year, $162 million contract signed with the Mets after the 2022 season, was happy to provide the pricey piece of jewelry for Helman's collection.

"Thanks to @larryflowersjewelry for helping me gift this 'Bruce Wayne' to @mj_helman01! Helman graciously gave me his number when I was traded, and I could not be more thankful to him 🙌🏼," Nimmo wrote in the caption. "As you can see from the video, he is an absolute gem of a human being! Enjoy buddy!"

Nimmo is coming off a strong 2025 season in which he recorded career highs of 25 home runs and 92 RBI, and he will try to help lead the Rangers back to World Series contention this year.
