Joe TanseyMar 15, 2026

Cameron Young's career earnings on the PGA Tour moved over $30 million with his win at The Players Championship.

Young entered TPC Sawgrass with $26.7 million in career earnings. He took home $4.5 million for taking first at The Players.

The victory was the second of Young's career on the PGA Tour. He previously won the Wyndham Championship in August 2025.

Young's picked up plenty of high payouts throughout his career from some high major finishes.

The 28-year-old placed inside the top 10 at the Masters twice in 2023 and 2024. He also earned a pair of top-10 placings at The Open in consecutive years in 2022 and 2023. He also owns a tie for third from the 2022 PGA Championship and a tie for fourth from the 2025 U.S. Open.

Young will be expected to contend at each of the season's four majors after his success at the Players.

His previous success at Augusta National Golf Club makes him one of the contenders to watch in April. He's either missed the cut or finished inside the top 10 at Augusta.

Young has a few more chances to warm-up for the Masters with the Valspar Championship, Houston Open and Texas Open on the schedule in the next three weeks. He won't play in all of those tournaments, but those will be the events available for him to fine-tune his game ahead of Augusta.
