Aryna Sabalenka Beats Elena Rybakina to Win 2026 Indian Wells Women's Final Bracket
Aryna Sabalenka won a three-set epic over Elena Rybakina to earn her first-ever title at Indian Wells.
The No. 1 seed rallied from a first-set defeat to win the second set and then capture the third set in a tiebreak to take home one of the most prestigious non-major titles in tennis.
The top-ranked player in the world struggled out of the gate against Rybakina, who beat Sabalenka in the Australian Open final earlier in the season.
Rybakina took the first set 6-3, but then Sabalenka rallied to claim the second set by the same score.
Sabalenka needed 14 games in the third-set tiebreak to beat Rybakina and win for the first time in the California desert.
Sabalenka previously reached the Indian Wells final in 2023 and 2025. She lost both of those matches, including to Rybakina in 2023.
Sunday's win marked the 20th time Sabalenka won a hard-court tournament on the WTA Tour. She's won four of those titles at majors.
Next up for Sabalenka is the Miami Open, where she is the reigning champion.
