Jager Burton NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Green Bay Packers IOL

Brandon ThornApr 16, 2026

The Green Bay Packers selected Kentucky IOL Jager Burton with the No. 153 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Jager Burton is a quick-twitch center prospect who excels reaching landmarks on combo blocks, reaches, pulls and climbs. However, limited play strength and sturdiness create inconsistent contact balance, often compromising his posture and leaving him vulnerable to being pried open when isolated. His positional versatility and movement skills project best to a swing interior backup role in the NFL.

Burton is a 6'4", 312-pound center prospect who entered the Kentucky program as a 4-star recruit in the 2021 class.

The former Wildcat started 47 career games across the interior; 23 at LG, 15 at C and 9 at RG). Burton participated in the 2026 Shrine Bowl.
