Indian Wells Tennis 2026 Men's Final Schedule, Predictions After Semifinals Bracket
Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev will both play for their first Indian Wells title on Sunday.
Sinner reached his first final at the California event with a straight-set triumph over Alexander Zverev.
Everyone expected Sinner to face Carlos Alcaraz in yet another final, but Medvedev had something to say about that.
Medvedev ousted Alcaraz in two sets to advance to his third Indian Wells final in four years.

Men's Singles Final Preview

Jannik Sinner should be the favorite in Sunday's final.
The second-seeded Italian has not lost a set yet in the tournament. He had easier matchups in the last two rounds against Zverev and Learner Tien.
On the other hand, Medvedev knocked out reigning champion Jack Draper and Alcaraz in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds.
Medvedev was on the court for 14 minutes longer than Sinner on Saturday. He also had to fight through a second-set tiebreak to eliminate Alcaraz.
Medvedev has been to the Indian Wells final twice before in his career, but he lost both of those matches in straight sets in 2023 and 2024.
Sinner holds an 8-7 edge in the career head-to-head battle. The Italian has captured eight of the last nine meetings with Medvedev.
With that in mind, it's easy to pick Sinner to claim his first Indian Wells crown.
Prediction: Sinner over Medvedev in two sets.
