NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Michigan State IOL Matt Gulbin

Brandon ThornApr 16, 2026

Matt Gulbin is a hard-nosed, efficient center prospect with good play strength and good feel to help mitigate below average length and quickness. He projects as a quality swing interior backup and fringe starter at the pivot who can keep an offense on schedule in a pinch.

Gulbin is a 6'4", 305-pound center prospect who entered the Wake Forest program as a 3-star recruit in the 2021 class. After starting 23 games (11 at each guard spot, one at center) over four years he transferred to Michigan State in 2025.

The former Spartan finished his career with 34 career starts, including 11 at center as a team captain last season. Gulbin was a 2025 team captain and is the only offensive linemen in the class with double-digit starts at all three interior spots.
