Indian Wells Tennis 2026 Results, Women's Final and Men's Semifinals Bracket Preview

Joe TanseyMar 13, 2026

Aryna Sabalenka earned another opportunity to chase down one of the few elusive titles in her career.

Sabalenka advanced to her third final in four years at Indian Wells on Friday night. She is 0-2 in her career in the Indian Wells final.

Sabalenka will take on a familiar face, Elena Rybakina, in Sunday's final. Rybakina beat Sabalenka in the 2023 Indian Wells final and beat the No. 1 seed at the 2026 Australian Open.

Saturday's men's semifinals pit a pair of familiar foes against each other, as Carlos Alcaraz faces Daniil Medvedev and Jannik Sinner takes on Alexander Zverev.

BNP Paribas Open 2026 - Day 10

No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka def. No. 14 Linda Noskova, 6-3, 6-4

No. 3 Elena Rybakina def. No. 9 Elina Svitolina, 7-5, 6-4

Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina will meet for the 16th time in Sunday's BNP Paribas Open final.

Sabalenka and Rybakina both looked dominant in their respective semifinal victories on Friday night.

Sabalenka won her fifth consecutive straight-set match over Linda Noskova. Rybakina picked up her second straight win over a top-10 seed with a defeat of Elina Svitolina.

Sabalenka is ahead in the rivalry by an 8-7 margin, but Rybakina's had the best of the No. 1 seed in recent meetings.

Rybakina captured the 2026 Australian Open with a win over Sabalenka and she's won three of the last four meetings, all of which have been on hard courts.

Rybakina presents the best challenge on hard court to Sabalenka at the moment, which should make Sunday's final one for the ages.

TENNIS: MAR 12 BNP Paribas Open

No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz vs. No. 11 Daniil Medvedev

No. 2 Jannik Sinner vs. No. 4 Alexander Zverev

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are one win each away from yet another championship match meeting.

Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev are the challengers on Saturday to the top two seeds.

Medvedev hasn't lost a set yet in Indian Wells and he's coming off a commanding win over 2025 champion Jack Draper in the quarterfinals.

Alcaraz owns a 6-2 head-to-head record over Medvedev, including a triumph over him at the 2024 Indian Wells final.

The Spaniard won the last four meetings with Medvedev, so while Medvedev is in form, the No. 1 seed should still be favored to reach the final.

Sinner owns a 6-4 record over Zverev and he's on a five-match winning streak against the German.

Zverev has only lost one set in California, but like Medvedev, he'll have to play a perfect match to pull off the upset on Saturday.

Alcaraz and Sinner are in a league of their own and it's easy to pick them both to reach the final in whichever tournaments they enter.
