MLB Fantasy Baseball 2026 Top 100 Big Board, Positional Rankings, Sleepers
With 2026 spring training wrapping up and Opening Day right around the corner, it's fantasy baseball draft season once again.
Before diving into this year's fantasy rankings, a bit of clarification is needed.
First, everything is based on 10- or 12-team mixed leagues with standard 5x5 rotisserie scoring for hitters (batting average, runs, home runs, RBI, stolen bases) and pitchers (wins, ERA, WHIP, strikeouts, saves).
Second, lineup construction assumes 22 active roster positions, consisting of one each for catcher, first base, second base, third base, shortstop, corner infield, middle infield and utility, along with five outfielders and nine pitchers.
Finally, to be eligible at a particular position, players must have accrued at least 20 games there in 2025 or be projected to play there regularly in 2026.

5. Will Smith, LAD
6. Hunter Goodman, COL
7. Salvador Perez, KC

19. Samuel Basallo, BAL
20. Austin Wells, NYY
21. Logan O'Hoppe, LAA
22. Dillon Dingler, DET
23. Carson Kelly, CHC
24. Tyler Stephenson, CIN
25. Ryan Jeffers, MIN
Overvalued: Agustín Ramírez, MIA (ADP: 108)
Slugging 22 home runs in 136 games as a rookie immediately made Ramírez fantasy relevant, but drafting him several rounds earlier than Yainer Díaz (ADP: 141), Alejandro Kirk (ADP: 175) and Iván Herrera (ADP: 176) is risky. The 24-year-old had an ugly .287 on-base percentage and the worst defensive metrics of any catcher, and that could mean diminished playing time if he starts slow at the plate.
Undervalued: Francisco Alvarez, NYM (ADP: 246)
Alvarez has shown flashes, but he is still searching for a true breakout season to validate his elite prospect status. The 24-year-old posted a .921 OPS with nine home runs and 21 RBI in 41 games after the All-Star break last season, and that could be the springboard to a true breakthrough season.
First Basemen

3. Pete Alonso, BAL
4. Matt Olson, ATL

19. Alec Burleson, STL
20. Munetaka Murakami, CWS
21. Sal Stewart, CIN
22. Andrew Vaughn, MIL
23. Ryan O'Hearn, PIT
24. Kyle Manzardo, CLE
25. Christian Walker, HOU
Overvalued: Christian Walker, HOU (ADP: 188)
Walker had a disappointing first season in Houston, and while he turned things around a bit after the All-Star break, his diminished batted-ball metrics and the fact that he turns 35 years old later this month could mean the slide continues in 2026. Ryan O'Hearn (ADP: 276) and Andrew Vaughn (ADP: 279) could easily outperform him and are available several rounds later.
Undervalued: Spencer Horwitz, PIT (ADP: 364)
With a better supporting cast, Horwitz could put together a more robust fantasy season in 2026. He quietly hit .272/.353/.434 with 11 home runs and 51 RBI in 108 games last season as one of the few above-average producers for baseball's worst offense, and now he'll be slotted alongside newcomers Marcell Ozuna, Brandon Lowe and Ryan O'Hearn.
Second Basemen

Top 25 Second Basemen
1. Jazz Chisholm Jr., NYY
2. Ketel Marte, ARI
3. Brice Turang, MIL
4. Jose Altuve, HOU
5. Nico Hoerner, CHC
6. Ozzie Albies, ATL
7. Brandon Lowe, PIT
8. Luke Keaschall, MIN
9. Bryson Stott, PHI
10. Ceddanne Rafaela, BOS
11. Xavier Edwards, MIA
12. Jorge Polanco, NYM
13. Gleyber Torres, DET
14. Marcus Semien, NYM
15. Jackson Holliday, BAL
16. José Caballero, NYY
17. Ernie Clement, TOR
18. Colt Keith, DET
19. Otto López, MIA
20. Brendan Donovan, SEA
21. Brett Baty, NYM
22. Matt McLain, CIN
23. Luis Arraez, SF
24. Jake Cronenworth, SD
25. JJ Wetherholt, STL
Overvalued: Luke Keaschall, MIN (ADP: 118)
Keaschall had huge gaps between his real statistics (.302 BA, .445 SLG) and expected statistics (.263 BA, .378 SLG) last season, which is generally a good indicator of future regression. He has a strong hit tool and can be an above-average option at the position, but drafting him ahead of guys like Ozzie Albies (ADP: 130) and Brandon Lowe (ADP: 151) feels like a mistake.
Undervalued: Jake Cronenworth, SD (ADP: 332)
Just a year removed from a 17-homer, 83-RBI season in 2024, Cronenworth was still a productive hitter for the Padres last year, and his durability and consistency should not be overlooked. If your league only requires 10 games for position eligibility rather than 20, he also has first base and shortstop status.
Top 25 Third Basemen

Top 25 Third Basemen

3. Jazz Chisholm Jr., NYY

15. Carlos Correa, HOU
16. Isaac Paredes, HOU
17. Ernie Clement, TOR
18. Alec Bohm, DET
19. Colt Keith, DET
20. Noelvi Marte, CIN
21. Brendan Donovan, SEA
22. Brett Baty, NYM
23. Caleb Durbin, BOS
24. Nolan Arenado, ARI
25. Ryan McMahon, NYY
Overvalued: Noelvi Marte, CIN (ADP: 141)
Marte will be Cincinnati's starting right fielder this season, but he still carries third base eligibility after playing 38 games at the hot corner in 2025. He hit .263 with 14 home runs, 51 RBI and 10 steals in 360 plate appearances last year, and he has a top prospect pedigree, but a .191/.214/.287 line over the final month of the season and his limited track record makes him a risk play at his current ADP.
Undervalued: Max Muncy, LAD (ADP: 224)
Muncy is 35 years old and essentially a platoon player at this point in his career after tallying just 80 plate appearances against lefties last season, but he can still rake. He had 19 home runs and 67 RBI in just 100 games last season, and in leagues where on-base percentage matters he is even more undervalued after logging a .376 OBP.

2. Elly De La Cruz, CIN
3. Gunnar Henderson, BAL
4. Trea Turner, PHI

18. Konnor Griffin, PIT
19. Xavier Edwards, MIA
20. José Caballero, NYY
21. Ernie Clement, TOR
22. Ezequiel Tovar, COL
23. Carlos Correa, HOU
24. Xander Bogaerts, SD
25. J.P. Crawford, SEA
Overvalued: CJ Abrams, WAS (ADP: 68)
Abrams has averaged 19 home runs and 36 steals over the last three seasons, and he's probably a better fantasy player than he is real-life player, but his middling batting average (.249), lack of RBI chances hitting leadoff and lack of run scoring opportunities playing for what will likely be baseball's worst team gives him less upside than almost anyone else in the top 75.
Undervalued: J.P. Crawford, SEA (ADP: 320)
If Crawford is your starting shortstop, you've made a mistake, but he deserves more love than he's getting slotted behind guys like Masyn Winn (ADP: 292), Zach McKinstry (ADP: 299) and Brooks Lee (ADP: 319). He hit leadoff in 76 games last season, and if he claims that role again he has upside that late in the draft.

44. Kerry Carpenter, DET
45. Daulton Varsho, TOR
46. Trent Grisham, NYY
47. Ramón Laureano, SD
48. Sal Frelick, MIL
49. Bryan Reynolds, PIT
50. Alec Burleson, STL
Overvalued: Luis Robert Jr., NYM (ADP: 121)
At his peak, Robert was a 30/30 threat and one of the game's most dynamic all-around talents, but we've not seen that version of him for some time. Over the past two seasons, he has a .223 batting average and a strikeout rate near 30 percent. A change of scenery to a contender could jumpstart things, but there is a ton of boom-or-bust in his 2026 outlook.
Undervalued: Matt Wallner, MIN (ADP: 307)
Wallner slugged 22 home runs in 392 plate appearances last season, and while he strikes out a ton, he has legitimate 30-homer upside with a clear runway to regular playing time on a rebuilding Twins roster. He currently looks like the leading candidate to hit cleanup in the Minnesota lineup.

45. Ranger Suárez, BOS
46. Zac Gallen, ARI
47. Emmet Sheehan, LAD
48. Tanner Bibee, CLE
49. Andrew Abbott, CIN
50. Gerrit Cole, NYY
Overvalued: Blake Snell, LAD (ADP: 98)
Snell made 11 starts in his first season with the Dodgers last year, and he is already nursing shoulder fatigue and headed for the injured list to start the 2026 season. The Dodgers will prioritize his availability for the postseason over rushing him back to action early in the year. Is it worth a top-100 pick for someone who might only end up making a dozen starts?
Undervalued: Brady Singer, CIN (ADP: 299)
Singer is durable (150+ IP in four straight seasons), has strikeout stuff (163 Ks in 2025) and he's pitching for a Reds team that should be in the thick of the NL playoff hunt. He's not the most exciting target, but it's silly that guys like Bailey Ober (ADP: 285), Joey Cantillo (ADP: 291) and the oft-injured Grayson Rodriguez (ADP: 292) are being drafted ahead of him.

20. Ryan Walker, SF
21. Bryan Abreu, HOU
22. Robert Suárez, ATL
23. Dennis Santana, PIT
24. Robert Garcia, TEX
25. Abner Uribe, MIL
Overvalued: Jeff Hoffman, TOR (ADP: 138)
With a 4.37 ERA and seven blown saves last season, Hoffman was not the same dominant late-inning force he was with the Phillies, and a 4.90 FIP does not suggest he was the victim of significant bad luck. It's not out of the question to think Louis Varland or Tyler Rogers could make a play for his job if he struggles early.
Undervalued: Grant Taylor, CWS (ADP: 390)
Taylor might start the season in a setup or multi-inning role, but he has the best stuff on the entire White Sox staff and could make a play for the closer's job in short order. The 23-year-old struck out 54 of the 157 batters he faced last season, and a 1.42 FIP is a much better indication of his potential than his 4.91 ERA.
