Maxx Crosby's Raiders Future Discussed by Tyler Linderbaum After Historic $81M Contract in NFL FA
Tyler Linderbaum—who became the NFL's highest-paid interior lineman with a three-year, $81 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders—wants Maxx Crosby to remain with his new team.
"Obviously, I would love Maxx to be here and play with him," the center told reporters Thursday. "I've gone against him. He's not fun to go against. … Excited to be on his team."
The comments came after Linderbaum's former team, the Baltimore Ravens, backed out of their trade for Crosby. The star pass-rusher then took to social media Wednesday and said "I'm a Raider. I'm back."

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Baltimore initially agreed to trade two first-round picks to Las Vegas for Crosby, and the Raiders were aggressive in free agency following the move.
Getting Crosby back in a voided trade surely isn't something the front office planned for during the legal tampering period for free agency, but Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated reported Las Vegas would "honor all the agreements" it made with free agents such as Linderbaum.
Crosby's latest post on social media suggests he is open and ready to remain with the AFC West team, which could now be in a much better position after adding arguably the best center in the league as well before presumably selecting Indiana's Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick.
Still, it remains stunning the situation reached this point.
Crosby underwent surgery for a torn meniscus this offseason, and Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported "Baltimore made the decision as an organization that it could not move forward with the deal based on the results of the medical."
Yet his agent, CJ LaBoy, released a statement that said the pass-rusher "continues to be on track in his recovery" and "remains on track to return during the offseason program."
The Ravens responded by adding Trey Hendrickson to bolster a pass-rush that will no longer have Crosby.
It remains to be seen whether it will be Las Vegas that does have Crosby in 2026, but Linderbaum certainly hopes that is the case.
