Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Packers had just under $29.6 million in 2026 cap space prior to the signing, via Over the Cap.
Hargrave initially signed a two-year contract worth $30 million with the Vikings in March 2025 after spending the prior five seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles.
During his lone year in Minnesota, he racked up 52 tackles, six quarterback hits, 3.5 sacks and one forced fumble. Hargrave also recorded 31 pressures, according to Pro Football Focus.
While he played in 16 games last season, he was limited to just three appearances during his 2024 campaign after partially tearing his right triceps.
Hargrave earned two Pro Bowl nods in the three seasons prior to the injury, amassing 31 quarterback hits and 19 sacks over that span. The Packers will be hoping that a change of scenery can help him look more like his former self.
Green Bay is coming off a third consecutive playoff appearance in 2025, but the team is entering the offseason searching for more help rushing the passer alongside Micah Parsons.
Parsons was responsible for 12.5 of the Packers' 36 sacks as a team last year. Rashan Gary ranked No. 2 with 7.5 sacks for Green Bay, but he struggled during the second half of the season and was traded to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday.
Now, the Packers will rely on Hargrave to provide a boost to their defensive front.
