New Maxx Crosby Rumors Detail Raiders Star's Mindset on Future After Ravens' Reversal of Trade
Star pass-rusher Maxx Crosby reportedly isn't dwelling on the nixed trade between the Las Vegas Raiders and Baltimore Ravens.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Crosby will be back at the Raiders' team facility to continue his rehab from knee surgery, and he is "ready to play football for the Raiders, ready to move forward."
Dianna Russini of The Athletic also reported that a source told her Crosby "is going to be a monster this year as an F you to Baltimore."

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Ravens reportedly agreed to send a 2026 and 2027 first-round pick to the Raiders in exchange for Crosby last week, but the Raiders announced Tuesday that Baltimore had "backed out" of the agreement:
Per Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Ravens decided to pull out of the trade after Crosby failed his physical.
Crosby missed the final two games of the 2025 regular season due to a knee injury, and he subsequently underwent surgery to repair his meniscus in January.
Shortly after the surgery, Crosby told reporters he would be "more than ready" for training camp.
On Wednesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Crosby got off crutches for the first time last week. Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed the surgery on Crosby's knee, told Schefter that Crosby is "doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery" and is "certainly on track in his planned program."
The 28-year-old Crosby was named a Pro Bowler for the fifth consecutive season in 2025.
Despite missing a pair of games, he set a new career-high with 28 tackles for loss and finished with 73 tackles, 10 sacks, two forced fumbles, six passes defended and his first career interception.
The 2019 fourth-round pick out of Eastern Michigan has reached the double-digit sack mark in three of the past four seasons, and he has twice been named to the All-Pro Second Team.
Thinking Crosby's $30 million salary would be off the books in 2026, the Raiders were aggressive during the legal tampering period of free agency, making several high-dollar signings.
Per SI.com's Albert Breer, the Raiders will honor those agreements regardless of what happens with Crosby.
Schefter added that "several" teams have contacted the Raiders about a potential trade for Crosby in the wake of the Ravens deal falling apart. While the Raiders are reportedly listening to offers, they are "prepared to get Crosby healthy and have him play for Las Vegas."
If Crosby does remain in Vegas and play for the Raiders in 2026, it will be under a new head coach in Klint Kubiak, but he will have a familiar face at defensive coordinator in Rob Leonard, who was his defensive line coach the past three seasons.
