New Cowboys Trade Rumors on Osa Odighizuwa After Rashan Gary Deal, NFL Free Agency
The Dallas Cowboys may continue remaking their defensive front this offseason.
According to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, "Teams are keeping an eye on what Dallas may do with Osa Odighizuwa, sources say. The Cowboys signed him to a four-year, $80 million contract last year, and teams believe he can now be traded for."
Since the start of last season, the Cowboys subtracted Micah Parsons and added Kenny Clark, Quinnen Williams and Rashan Gary in trades while signing nose tackle Otito Ogbonnia on Tuesday.

The Cowboys are pretty stacked up the middle, in other words, but edge-rusher remains a need, with Gary and the relatively unproven Donovan Ezeiruaku as the primary options (and Ezeiruaku is recovering from hip surgery that is expected to keep him out for much of the offseason program).
There likely would be a strong market for Odighizuwa if the Cowboys made him available, however. The 27-year-old has notched 17 sacks, 34 tackles for loss, 81 quarterback hits and a pair of forced fumbles in his five-year career. His 52 pressures ranked sixth among interior lineman last season and his 29 hurries were 19th.
While he isn't a terror against the run, there's no doubt that Odighizuwa is impactful as an interior pass-rusher, putting quarterbacks under pressure consistently.
Time will tell if the Cowboys move on from Odighizuwa. If they do, expect it to be done with the need to add more help off the edge in mind.
