Crufts Dog Show 2026 Results, Final Winners, Top Photos and Reaction
The 2026 Crufts Dog Show culminated with clumber spaniel Bruin taking home Best in Show on Sunday, the first time the breed has won the top prize since 1991.
Bruin, owned by the charismatic Lee Cox, finished ahead of basset griffon vendeen Meghan, making history as just the second clumber spaniel to win the Keddell Memorial Trophy.
"It's just amazing," Cox told Channel 4 broadcast presenter Clare Balding. "I mean, what can I say? I can't believe it. Thank you so much. It's just wonderful for this breed. For the first time in my life, I'm speechless."
Last year, Italian whippet Miuccia won Best in Show, making history as the first dog from the country to secure the prize.
The seven contenders for Best in Show included last year's reserve, Tibetan mastiff Viking, and 22-month-old miniature schnauzer Spencer. Both delighted the crowd and showcased the variety on show at the Birmingham NEC.
An exciting array of gundogs took to the stage prior to the grand final to compete for the last Best in Show spot.
That included Bruin, whose busy day started with the section win, before a quick turnaround to try and impress the Best in Show judges.
And impress Bruin did. The clumber spaniel is considered a vulnerable native breed by the UK Kennel Club, adding extra importance to Bruin's memorable moment in front of such a large audience.
The popular winner finished with a lap of honor on a weekend that saw thousands of dogs attempt to take the crown.
