
LA Marathon 2026 Results for Men's and Women's Top Finishers
USA's Nathan Martin won the men's race at the 2026 Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday morning in an epic finish.
Martin chased down Kenya's Michael Kimani Kamau at the finish line and dove past him to win the race by less than a second. It's the closest finish in the history of the L.A. Marathon.

A native of Three Rivers, Michigan, Martin joins 2025 winner Matthew Richtman as the only American men ever to win the L.A. Marathon.
Martin completed the 26.2 mile race in 2:11:16.50, barely edging out Kamau.
On the women's side, Kenya's Priscah Cherono won the race with a time of 2:25:18.31, two minutes faster than USA's Kellyn Taylor.
Sunday's marathon started at Dodger Stadium and ended at the finish line on Santa Monica Boulevard in Century City. The racers went through some of Los Angeles' iconic neighborhoods and landmarks, including Little Tokyo, Capitol Records Tower, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Rodeo Drive, Chinatown, Sunset Strip and Beverly Hills.
