Capitals Reveal Cherry Blossom Uniforms for 2026 NHL Season in New Photos Ahead of Annual Showcase

There is a new jersey in bloom for the Washington Capitals.

Washington announced Thursday its players will wear special Cherry Blossom uniforms for its March 18 home game against the Ottawa Senators. The jerseys were designed by Washington, D.C.,-based artist Taylor Kampa Olson of TKOPaintings.

In addition to the team's classic Capitol building logo, there are plenty of Washington D.C.'s famous cherry blossoms across the front of the jersey and within the numbers on the back.

Washington is 31-25-7 on the season and four points behind the Boston Bruins for the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.
