Giants Rumors Reveal Harbaugh's 1st Training Camp Location as MetLife Stadium Prepares for World Cup
Since MetLife Stadium is being prepared to serve as a host site for the FIFA World Cup this summer, the New York Giants will be far away from their usual stomping grounds for John Harbaugh's first training camp as head coach.
Per Paul Schwartz of the New York Post, the Giants are expected to hold the first two weeks of training camp at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia.

A.J. Brown Deal Not 'Firm'
The 2026 World Cup will run from June 11 through July 19, with MetLife Stadium being one of 16 host sites across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
MetLife Stadium is the host site for the final on July 19. NFL teams have not yet announced when training camps will open, but it could be as early as July 15 based on last year's schedule.
However, the upcoming regular season is expected to begin roughly one week later than the 2025 campaign, so it's possible training camps could start later in July.
Regardless, though, MetLife Stadium's significant role in the World Cup likely means it won't be football-ready until late in the summer.
Greenbrier's website notes its sports performance center was established in 2014 to serve as the training camp home for the New Orleans Saints. It features two grass fields and a FieldTurf field.
Other NFL teams that have hosted training camp at the Greenbrier Resort include the Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers.
The Giants are also upgrading their team facilities this offseason, including the locker room and weight room, that was part of their sales pitch to Harbaugh when they were looking for a new head coach.
Harbaugh is entering his first season with the Giants after an 18-year stint with the Baltimore Ravens. He received a five-year deal that is reportedly worth $100 million.
The $20 million average annual salary for Harbaugh is tied with Andy Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs as the highest-paid head coach in the NFL.
Harbaugh didn't win fewer than eight games in any of his final 10 seasons with the Ravens. The Giants have just one season with at least eight wins since 2017.
