Jack, Quinn Hughes Recall Tom Brady's Reaction to USA Women's Hockey Winning Olympic Gold Medal

NFL icon Tom Brady was apparently thrilled to see Team USA's Megan Keller score in overtime of the Olympic women's hockey gold medal game to lift her country to victory over Canada back on Feb. 19 during the 2026 Milan Cortina Games.

Team USA men's hockey stars Jack and Quinn Hughes said in a Monday night appearance on The Tonight Show they had watched the women's gold medal game in the same box as Brady.

"It was me, Jack and Tom watching the game," Quinn said. "I mean, it was crazy. I don't know how we got up there."

Jack added, "He was the most pumped out of all of us. He was going crazy."

"No one was happier than Tom," Quinn agreed. "He was jumping up and down."

Brady had been spotted talking to Team USA men's hockey captain Mike Eruzione, who led his team to gold during the 1980 Winter Olympics, in his box during the women's gold medal game.

The Hughes brothers appeared on The Tonight Show with Team USA captain Hilary Knight, who forced overtime with a late tying goal in the women's gold medal game.

Keller then scored 4:07 into extra time to secure the American victory.

Three days later, the American men's hockey team also went to overtime against Canada before Jack scored his own golden goal 1:41 into the extra period.

The back-to-back victories marked the first time in Olympic history the American men's and women's hockey teams have won gold in the same tournament.
