
Indian Wells 2026 Draw Results, Player Seedings, Brackets and Twitter Reaction
The brackets have been set for both the men's and women's singles competition at the 2026 Indian Wells Open starting this week in California.
The men's draw gives World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz a first-round bye before matching him up with France's Terence Atmane or Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov.
He is in the same half of the bracket as No. 3 Novak Djokovic, who will take on either Poland's Kamil Majchrzak or France's Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in the second round and could meet Alcaraz in the semifinal.

Reigning men's singles champion Jack Draper, who is in the same half of the bracket, would need to make it past Djokovic to make it to the quarterfinal.
No. 2 Jannik Sinner, following his own bye, will play either Australia's James Duckworth or a qualifier. He could potentially match up with the USA's Ben Shelton in the quarterfinal.
The women's draw placed No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, who is seeking her first Indian Wells championship, on track to face on either USA's Alycia Parks or a qualifier after her first-round bye.
Sabalenka faces a tough potential path to the final. Her quarter of the women's bracket also features three top-20 players in No. 6 Amanda Anisimova, No. 10 Victoria Mboko and No. 16 Naomi Osaka.
No. 2 Iga Swiatek will play either Great Britain's Francesca Jones or a qualifier in the second round. She might have to take on reigning Indian Wells champion Mirra Andreeva in the quarterfinal.
Venus Williams, who is entering the competition as a wild card, drew a qualifier for Round 1.
Fans were excited by the potential high-profile matchups made possible by both the men's and women's draws.
The first ATP Masters 1000 championship of the year, alongside a major WTA 1000 title, will be on the line when main draw play kicks off on Wednesday in Indian Wells, California.
It is not yet clear if all players in the draw will be able to participate in this week's event. As of Monday, conflict in the Middle East stranded multiple competitors including Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov in the United Arab Emirates following an ATP 500 tournament in Dubai, per Tennis.com's Stephanie Livaudais.
