Latest Mike Tyson vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. Rumors After Pacquiao, Zambidis Fight Announcements
Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s schedule is filling up quickly, but he reportedly still has every intention to fight legendary boxer Mike Tyson.
Per TMZ, the fight between Mayweather and Tyson is "likely" to take place in May, with a chance it could come as early as April, likely in Congo. TMZ also reported that the 49-year-old Mayweather has been training daily for his bout with Tyson.
Last month, Netflix announced a fight between Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao that's set to take place in Las Vegas in September.
Mayweather beat Pacquiao in a unanimous decision in 2015, which was his third-most recent fight. Mayweather hasn't been in the ring — aside from exhibition bouts— since his win over Conor McGregor in 2017.
Before taking on Pacquiao, Mayweather will take on Greek kickboxer and martial artist Mike Zambidis in an exhibition match in Athens, Greece.
Mayweather may be well past his prime at this point, but all three of his fights this year should be entertaining.
