Latest A.J. Brown Trade Rumors as Insider Says NFL HC 'Laughed Hard' at Eagles' Asking Price for WR
The Philadelphia Eagles asking price for wide receiver A.J. Brown might be too high.
The Athletic's James Palmer revealed on the Scoop City podcast that one head coach at the NFL combine couldn't believe what the Eagles wanted in return for Brown.
"I was with a head coach this week when they found out what the asking price was, and I'm not gonna lie, they were somewhat interested," Palmer said (22:45 mark). "They heard the asking price, laughed. Laughed hard."

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
There was once a time when Brown would have commanded a steep asking price, but that may not be the case after two below-average years for him. In 2025, he had 1,003 receiving yards, his fewest since 2021, and seven touchdowns.
Whether the Eagles are fully committed to finding a trade for Brown is still unclear, but there reportedly could be an answer to that question as soon as next week.
If Philadelphia opts to trade Brown, it makes sense to start the asking price off high and gradually come down. How far down the Eagles will have to go remains to be seen.
