Mel Kiper Jr. Reveals Standout Draft Prospects from NFL Scouting Combine 2026 Results

With the NFL Scouting Combine now in the books, draft boards around the league—and for pundits—are likely to see some shuffling.

In that spirit, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. identified 13 "standouts" from this year's event in Indianapolis, singling out the workout performances of Arkansas running back Mike Washington Jr., Tennessee wideout Chris Brazzell II, Georgia receiver Zachariah Branch, Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor, Penn State defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton, UCF edge-rusher Malachi Lawrence, BYU linebacker Jack Kelly, Iowa linebacker Karson Sharar, Indiana cornerback D'Angelo Ponds, Stephen F. Austin corner Charles Demmings, Pittsburgh hybrid Kyle Louis, South Carolina safety Jalon Kilgore and TCU safety Bud Clark.

Kiper added that he wanted to go a "little more under the radar" with his picks, with everybody taking note of the incredible performances of players like Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles.
