NFL Combine 2026 Next Gen Stats for Jeremiyah Love, Sonny Styles and Top Performers

Following the completion of the 2026 NFL scouting combine, some of the standout performers were revealed by Next Gen Stats.

Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love clocked an official time of 4.36 seconds in the 40-yard dash, earning a 94 overall draft score. His 40 time is the highest of any running back in the last decade to have a 90+ production score from NGS, beating out NFL stars Jonathan Taylor, Saquon Barkley, Bijan Robinson and Christian McCaffrey.

Love's 94 overall draft score was tied with Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles for the highest in the entire 2026 draft class. In fact, Styles' score is the highest by any defender since 2023.

Wide receivers Jeff Caldwell of Cincinnati and Bryce Lance of North Dakota State topped the entire field as the only players to earn a 99 athleticism score. Pittsburgh Steelers star DK Metcalf now has some company following his standout combine performance in 2019.

Sitting closely behind Caldwell and Lance with a 97 athleticism score, Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green potentially boosted his stock in a big way after setting combine records for a quarterback in the vertical (43.5") and broad jump (11'2"). He also reached a top speed of 23.40 mph, the fastest of any quarterback since 2023.

However, no one was faster than Mississippi State wide receiver Brenen Thompson, who clocked the fastest overall time in the 40-yard dash at 4.26 seconds. His top speed was higher than Kansas City Chiefs star Xavier Worthy's 23.62 mph during his record-setting 4.21 40-yard dash.

NFL teams hoping to find the hidden gems of this year's draft class will surely lean on the NGS evaluations to help guide their decisions.
