Carson Beck at 2026 NFL Combine Measurements, Highlights and Reaction

Taylyn Hadley Feb 28, 2026

University of Miami quarterback Carson Beck delivered several pinpoint throws Saturday at the NFL combine, opting to focus on passing drills to showcase his arm talent and touch.

Beck had plenty riding on Saturday's performance despite leading the Miami Hurricanes on a Cinderella run to the College Football Playoff national championship game, where they fell 27-21 to projected No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza.

Beck spent one season at Miami after transferring from Georgia, rescinding his declaration for the 2025 NFL draft before entering the transfer portal. He chose to return to school amid uncertainty about his draft stock while recovering from a UCL injury that limited his ability to participate in pre-draft workouts, per ESPN's Pete Thamel and Max Olson.

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. projects Beck as the fifth quarterback taken off the board, behind Mendoza, Alabama's Ty Simpson, Penn State's Drew Allar, and LSU's Garrett Nussmeier.

Beck's measurements were as follows:

  • Height: 6'4¾"
  • Weight: 233 pounds
  • Hand Size: 10 inches
  • Arm Length: 30⅝ inches
  • Wingspan: 75 inches

Beck stepped up for his first throw of the combine, a routine post route, and was met with boos from the crowd at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The 23-year-old shook it off and delivered a clean completion to his receiver.

Despite boos raining down every time the ball touched Beck's hands, he remained composed and delivered several solid throws throughout the session.

Beck added an impressive deep ball from his own 10-yard line, connecting with his receiver near the opposite 35-yard line to cap one of his strongest throws of the session.
