Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson appeared to tease the trade before it was announced in a post on X:
The Ravens hold the No. 14 overall pick in this year's draft.
Crosby, 28, had been the subject of trade rumors for quite some time, and they recently began to intensify.
During a Feb. 9 appearance on theย Pat McAfee Show, Schefter said there was "a feeling around the league" that Crosby wanted to be traded, although Schefter added that Vegas "would prefer not" to move him.
Back in December, the Raiders decided to shut Crosby down for the final two games of the 2025 regular season due to a knee injury, and Crosby left the team facility after being informed of the news.
While Crosby apparently wasn't thrilled with the Raiders' decision, he did end up undergoing surgery to repair a meniscus injury, but it was not expected to impact his availability for training camp.
Originally selected by the Raiders in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft out of Eastern Michigan, Crosby has consistently been among the best pass-rushers in the league throughout his career.
In 110 regular-season games over seven seasons, Crosby has recorded 69.5 sacks. He has registered 10 or more sacks in a season four times, reached the Pro Bowl in each of the past five campaigns, and was a Second Team All-Pro in both 2021 and 2023.
Last season, Crosby finished with 10 sacks, 73 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and one interception despite missing two games and being limited in others because of his knee.
Signed through 2029 after inking a three-year, $106.5 million extension with the Raiders last year, Crosby was a desirable trade option for teams looking to add a long-term answer on the edge.
He also became a logical trade piece for the Raiders since they are in the midst of a rebuild after finishing an NFL-worst 3-14 in 2025.
After disappointingly finishing 8-9 and missing the playoffs last season, the Ravens got aggressive with the addition of Crosby.
The Ravens have a new, defensive-minded head coach in Jesse Minter following the firing of John Harbaugh, and Crosby could be the exact type of player he needs in order to bring Baltimore back to the playoffs and Super Bowl contention.
