Kevin Patullo's New NFL Landing Spot Reportedly Revealed After Eagles Exit
Former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo is joining the Miami Dolphins' coaching staff as the pass-game coordinator, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
He'll join new head coach Jeff Hafley and new offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik.
Patullo, 44, started his NFL coaching career with the Kansas City Chiefs as an offensive quality coach (2007-08). He then spent three seasons in Buffalo in the same role and also as an assistant receivers coach (2010-12), a season with the Tennessee Titans as assistant receivers coach (2013) and two seasons as the New York Jets quarterbacks coach (2014-15).
After a year with Texas A&M, he returned to the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts (2018-20), operating as a wideouts coach and pass-game specialist. He followed Nick Sirianni to Philadelphia as the pass-game coordinator between 2021-24 before being promoted to offensive coordinator last season after Kellen Moore took the head-coaching gig with the New Orleans Saints.
It proved to be a bad fit. The Eagles were significantly worse offensively in 2025, ranking 24th in yards and 19th in points. For a team loaded with talent, it was a severe underachievement, and Patullo was quickly demoted this offseason, replaced by former Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion.
"Change is not a bad thing," A.J. Brown told reporters recently regarding Philly's change at offensive coordinator. "I have the utmost respect for [Patullo]. He did a tremendous job and he has a great heart. But I'm excited for the season. I'm excited for what's to come."
Miami, meanwhile, is transitioning to a new coaching staff this offseason after firing head coach Mike McDaniel. Patullo will be hoping for a fresh start after a difficult 2025 season.
