Exum Undergoes ACL Surgery
Friday, Sept. 4
The team announced the news on Sept. 3 while stating he'll return to Salt Lake City to begin rehab once he's cleared to travel. Exum posted a picture following the surgery:
Slovenian journalist Damir Radenovic provided a Vine showing how Exum's injury went down:
Exum, 20, is heading into his second NBA season. The No. 5 overall pick in 2014, Exum averaged 4.8 points, 2.4 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game in 2014-15. He was one of just four rookies (Andrew Wiggins, Nikola Mirotic and Elfrid Payton being the others) who played in all 82 games.
Of course, this could have far-reaching implications for the Jazz if the injury lingers deep into next season.
