Kyle Shanahan Jokes About 49ers' Offensive Struggles vs. Seahawks Ahead of NFL Super Bowl 60
San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan joined NBC's broadcast team for Sunday's Super Bowl LX between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, and he admitted that he might not be the best person to evaluate the NFC champions.
Shanahan had a hilarious response when asked about his thoughts on the Seahawks, joking that he's not the right person to ask following his team's struggles against them this season.
"I know you guys want my expert opinion, but I haven't scored a touchdown on these guys the last two times we've played them, so I don't know how good that is," Shanahan said.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Shanahan eventually offered his analysis of the Seahawks, mostly praising the team. However, his joke did carry some truth.
The 49ers ended the regular season with a 13-3 loss to the Seahawks that gave Seattle the No. 1 seed in the NFC. San Francisco had its opportunity for revenge two weeks later in the NFC Divisional Round, but it suffered a 41-6 blowout for its largest playoff loss in nearly 40 years.
ESPN's Benjamin Solak illustrated how rare it is for a team coached by Shanahan to fail to score a touchdown:
The Seahawks are playing in the Super Bowl for the first time since losing to the Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX at the end of the 2014 season. The team is hoping to win its second Super Bowl title in franchise history.
Perhaps Shanahan will have better luck against San Francisco's NFC West rival next year. For now, he will watch with the rest of the world as Seattle tries to right its wrong against New England from over a decade ago.
