CeeDee Lamb Open to Contract Restructure to Keep George Pickens on Cowboys Amid NFL Rumors
Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb is willing to restructure his contract in order to create enough financial flexibility for Dallas to retain fellow wide receiver George Pickens.
"I mean, if it's necessary," Lamb said during a Friday appearance on the Dan Patrick Show. "Honestly. I'm pretty good but I know he's going to get every penny that he deserves here in Dallas."
The Cowboys are currently projected to be over the NFL's salary cap in 2026, but could create enough room to sign Pickens by restructuring the contracts of players such as Lamb.
A similar situation occurred last offseason, as Lamb and Dallas agreed to a restructured deal in March 2025 that freed up roughly $20 million in cap space.
He initially signed a four-year extension worth $136 million with the Cowboys in 2024.
Lamb's desire to remain teammates with Pickens is understandable, as they established themselves as one of the NFL's top receiving duos in their first season together.
Pickens caught 93 passes for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns, while Lamb hauled in 75 receptions for 1,077 yards and three scores in just 14 games.
