New A.J. Brown Trade Rumors Reveal Latest Chatter Among NFL Insiders on Eagles WR's Future

Philadelphia Eagles star receiver A.J. Brown's rumored desire to be traded is no secret, and it sounds like the feeling is mutual.

Reporting from Radio Row ahead of Super Bowl LX, EJ Smith of PHLY Sports said that after speaking with people in league circles, it's "obvious" that the Eagles want to "move on" from Brown or that he will "want to be elsewhere."

The early chatter as the offseason approaches has indicated that Brown will be one of the most coveted players on the trade market. The Athletic's Dianna Russini told PHLY Sports earlier this week, "I have a feeling it's gonna resolve itself by A.J. no longer being in Philly," and she revealed his expected trade value.

"It's funny, I was poking around on it around the trade deadline, just in case they did it… They'd get a second-rounder," she said.

There's been a perception that Brown is unhappy in Philadelphia for quite some time, and his obvious frustrations throughout the 2025 season fueled that theory even further.

If the Eagles decide to move on from the three-time Pro Bowler, he will undoubtedly be motivated that he can carry his new team to success in the 2026 campaign and beyond.
