New A.J. Brown Rumors on Eagles WR's Trade Value Ahead of 2026 NFL Free Agency
The trade rumblings surrounding Philadelphia Eagles star receiver A.J. Brown have continued, and one insider feels the two sides are headed for a divorce.
While speaking to PHLY Sports, The Athletic's Dianna Russini predicted that the Eagles will trade Brown this offseason and named the New England Patriots as a potential landing spot.
"I have a feeling it's gonna resolve itself by A.J. no longer being in Philly," Russini said. "That's where I think it's gonna head, I don't know that for a fact yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they move him to a place like New England, a team that's playing in the Super Bowl."

Russini went on to add that she learned what Brown's trade value would be earlier this season.
"It's funny, I was poking around on it around the trade deadline, just in case they did it... They'd get a second-rounder," she said.
Brown didn't hold back his frustrations with the Eagles throughout the season, so it seems inevitable that the two sides will part ways. Last month, Philadelphia general manager Howie Roseman downplayed the notion that the team would trade the three-time Pro Bowler.
"It is hard to find great players in the NFL, and A.J. is a great player," Roseman said during his end-of-season news conference. "I think from my perspective, that's what we're going out and looking for when we go out here in free agency, in the draft, just trying to find great players who love football, and he's that guy."
Despite Roseman's support of Brown, all signs point to him wearing a new uniform next season.
