Senior Bowl 2026 Results and Prospects Who Boosted Draft Stock at Showcase
The quarterback class for the 2026 NFL draft still needs some sorting after Dante Moore's decision to return to Oregon.
The competition is wide open behind likely No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza.
Garrett Nussmeier put in his best performance at the Senior Bowl on Saturday to boost his stock ahead of April's selection process.
A handful of other players stood out over the week of practices and the game itself in Mobile.
There's still a long way to go between now and April, but multiple players impressed enough to have boosted their stock right now in the eyes of NFL teams.
Garrett Nussmeier

Garrett Nussmeier earned Senior Bowl MVP on Saturday.
The LSU quarterback threw for 60 yards and a touchdown in the low-scoring affair in Mobile.
His game stats were less important than the overall performance in the last week, though, as he proved what he can do when fully healthy.
Nussmeier entered the 2025 college football season as one of the top quarterbacks to watch, but the season did not play out how he wanted it to.
The LSU quarterback only threw for 1,927 yards on the season and did not have a 300-yard performance before his season was cut short due to an injury.
When healthy, Nussmeier stacks up against most of the other quarterbacks in the draft class. After all, he was a 4,000-yard passer in the 2024 season.
With Dante Moore going back to Oregon, there will be a natural bump for other quarterbacks to move up the draft order with plenty of needs at the position across the league.
Nussmeier might not elevate to a first-round pick, but he could turn into a solid Day 2 pick.
Malachi Fields

Malachi Fields created an edge for himself over the rest of the wide receivers at the Senior Bowl.
NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah claimed that Fields "was clearly a cut above every other player at the position" during Senior Bowl practices.
Fields could easily be the top Senior Bowl participant taken at his position, but the draft depth at wide receiver is crowded as a whole.
Fields is likely a Day 2 pick right now. The likes of Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson and Makai Lemon are the consensus first-round picks at wide receiver.
The Notre Dame product will stand out on the radar of some teams on Day 2, especially because of his size and ability to produce in the red zone. Fields had five touchdown catches in each of the last three seasons to go along with a pair of 800-yard campaigns.
Bryce Boettcher

Oregon linebacker Bryce Boettcher was one of the standout defensive players across all the events in Mobile this week.
Boettcher made 10 tackles for the National squad on Saturday. That performance bookended a strong week of practices.
NFL.com's Eric Edholm pointed out that Boettcher's "coverage ability and intensity stood out all week."
Boettcher had 50 solo tackles in each of the last two seasons at Oregon. He also had nine passes defended in that span.
The senior linebacker's athleticism should stand out in comparison to other linebackers. He was a 13th-round pick of the Houston Astros in the 2024 MLB draft.
Boettcher is likely a Day 2 or Day 3 selection, but if he displays the same effort he did in Mobile in the NFL, he could be an impact rookie in 2026 regardless of where he's chosen.
