Josh Allen 'Still Sick to My Stomach' Over Bills' 2026 NFL Playoff Loss to Broncos
Two weeks after the Buffalo Bills' season ended with a 33-30 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Divisional Round, Josh Allen is still processing what went wrong in the game.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Allen said he is "still sick to my stomach" about how the season ended.
Allen finished the game against the Broncos with 283 passing yards, three passing touchdowns and 66 rushing yards, but he also tied his career-high with four turnovers (two interceptions, two fumbles lost).
The four turnovers were as many as Allen had committed in his previous eight playoff games combined. Denver scored nine points off those turnovers, including field goals at the end of the first half and in overtime that won the game.
Allen was extremely emotional during his postgame press conference immediately after the game, putting the blame for the loss on himself: "I feel like I let my teammates down tonight."
The loss was another in a long line of heartbreaking playoff defeats for Allen and the Bills. Their last three postseason losses have all been by three points.
Allen has six career playoff losses, three of which have come in overtime. His eight career postseason wins are the most ever by a quarterback who has never reached the Super Bowl.
The Bills haven't played in a Super Bowl since their run of four straight appearances from 1990 to '93.
