Everything Joe Brady, Brandon Beane Said at Bills Presser to Introduce Josh Allen's New HC
The Buffalo Bills are set to enter a new era under head coach Joe Brady, and he was introduced in a press conference alongside general manager Brandon Beane on Thursday.
Beane told reporters that the Bills "were looking for a CEO-type coach" with a "fresh new vision" as they searched for a replacement for the fired Sean McDermott, and they "wanted alignment."
"Joe Brady is all that and more," Beane said.

Bills star quarterback Josh Allen was also seen in attendance at the press conference using crutches and wearing a walking boot, and Beane told reporters that he "went and had his foot fixed."
Brady spent the last four seasons working under McDermott, starting out as Buffalo's quarterbacks coach in 2022 before being promoted to offensive coordinator. In his first full year as the OC in 2024, he guided Allen to his first career NFL MVP award.
During his opening statement, Brady thanked McDermott, saying, "The past nine years of this organization matter." He also declared that he's ready to handle the pressure of trying to lead the Bills to a Super Bowl title.
"I didn't take this job to shy away from expectations," Brady told reporters. "I sure as hell didn't do that. … I want what this city wants."
Brady confirmed that he'll remain Buffalo's offensive play-caller in 2026, which should be music to Allen's ears. The two have a strong relationship, and Brady said that Allen told him, "I didn't help you get this job, you got this job." The first-time head coach made it clear that the respect is mutual.
"Josh Allen is the best player in the NFL," Brady told reporters, adding that every decision will be made with the signal-caller in mind. "… I have so much love for that man. I'm going to do everything I can to get him what he deserves."
