Giants, Dennard Wilson Reportedly Agree to Contract as John Harbaugh's DC, Latest OC Rumors
John Harbaugh and the New York Giants reportedly have landed their new defensive coordinator.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Giants are hiring former Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson to fill their vacant position.
Wilson landed his first NFL job with the Rams in 2012 as a defensive quality control coach and later served as the team's defensive backs coach from 2015 to 2016. From there, he joined the New York Jets in the same position in 2017 before leaving for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He was the Baltimore Ravens' defensive backs coach under Harbaugh in 2023 and was named the Titans' defensive coordinator in 2024.
While the Titans finished with the worst record in the league in 2024, they were actually decent on the defensive side, allowing the second-fewest yards per game. This year, Tennessee ranked 21st in yards allowed per game (245.1) and 28th in points allowed per game (28.1).
The Titans did not retain Wilson after hiring Robert Saleh as head coach earlier this week.
With the defensive coordinator position now filled, the next priority is landing a new offensive coordinator. The team reportedly plans to interview Miami Dolphins wide receiver coach Robert Prince on Friday and reportedly has requested an interview with Baltimore Ravens assistant head coach and running backs coach Willie Taggart.
The Giants hired Chris Horton as their special teams coordinator on Sunday, and he'll also take on assistant head coach duties. Horton was on Harbaugh's staff in Baltimore from 2014 until this season.
