Giants' John Harbaugh 'Was Ready to Run Through a Brick Wall' After Talking with Jaxson Dart
New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh hit it off with quarterback Jaxson Dart during the interview process so well that he was "ready to run through a brick wall" after speaking with him, per comments made to Mike Garafolo and Judy Battista of NFL Network on Tuesday.
The Giants introduced Harbaugh to the public on Tuesday. He's in town on a reported five-year, $100 million contract and tasked with turning around a team that's won just one playoff game since Super Bowl XLVI in Feb. 2012. New York is also just 14-37 since 2023.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Harbaugh has a resume that inspires confidence that he'll turn this team around. He coached the Baltimore Ravens from 2008-2025, and the team missed the playoffs just once during that time, going 180-113 overall. Harbaugh is also a Super Bowl winner, leading the team to a Lombardi Trophy to cap the 2012 season.
There's hope the Giants, who went 4-13 last year, could make a big improvement in year one. That starts with Dart, who shined in his rookie year through the air (2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns) and on the ground (487 yards, nine touchdowns) through 12 starts.
Harbaugh met with Dart during the team's day-long meetings at the team's East Rutherford, New Jersey, facility last Wednesday alongside team owners and executives, per Ian O'Connor of The Athletic. Perhaps that day marked the start of a long and fruitful partnership as the two look to turn the franchise around.
