Super Bowl 2026 Date, Schedule and Predicting Teams for NFL's Championship Bracket
The 2025-26 NFL playoff field is now down to four. The divisional round brought two blowouts and two overtime contests, leaving the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, and Los Angeles Rams still alive for Super Bowl LX.
On Sunday, the AFC and NFC title games will determine which teams will face off in the postseason's final game.
Both No. 1 seeds are still alive, and the AFC Championship Game will feature the conference's top two seeds. The Rams head into the NFC title game as a wild-card team, but they'll face a familiar NFC West foe in Seattle.
Both of Sunday's games should be compelling. Here's a look at the remaining NFL schedule and some predictions for what's ahead.

The Patriots cleanly outplayed the Houston Texans on Sunday, eventually pulling away for a 28-16 victory. While the 12-point margin might not seem significant, it's worth noting that Houston boasts one of the best defenses in the league.
Those 28 points are the most the Texans have surrendered in a meaningful game since 10.
The Patriots' defense, meanwhile, is playing at its own eye-opening level. New England flustered C.J. Stroud throughout Sunday's game, forcing him into four interceptions a week after sacking Justin Herbert six times.
The previous day, the Broncos forced five turnovers while outlasting Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in overtime. Unfortunately, starting quarterback Bo Nix suffered a fractured bone in his ankle and will now miss the remainder of the postseason.
Can Denver still make a Super Bowl push? Absolutely. Like the Texans, the Broncos feature a top-tier defense and an elite pass rush. That could pose problems for a Patriots line that surrendered 48 sacks during the regular season. Quarterback Jarrett Stidham also has 20 appearances and four starts on his NFL resume, so Denver's QB situation shouldn't be a total disaster.
However, the Patriots have had one of the league's best quarterbacks this season in Drake Maye. They also have a multi-faceted rushing attack that the Broncos may not be able to handle. While Denver's defense can get after opposing quarterbacks, it also coughed up 183 rushing yards and 5.8 yards per carry against Buffalo.
The prediction here is that Nix's injury and Denver's suddenly shaky run defense prove to be too much to overcome.
Score Prediction: Patriots 30, Broncos 24
NFC Prediction

The Seahawks routed the injury-riddled San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night, rolling to a lopsided 41-6 victory. A day later, the Rams needed overtime to outlast a scrappy Chicago Bears team.
Of course, we don't have to dissect the two teams' paths to the NFC title game to have an idea of how they match up. The Rams and Seahawks have already played twice, splitting the regular-season series.
Both games were excruciatingly close. Los Angeles won the first meeting, at home, by only two points. The Seahawks won the Seattle rematch by one point in overtime after a successful two-point try.
Round 3 is likely to be another close one, even if we don't know what kind of game it will be. Led by MVP candidate Matthew Stafford, the Rams have one of the most explosive offenses in the league. Seattle, meanwhile, might have the NFL's best overall defense.
The first game between these two featured just 40 total points, while the second featured 75.
One thing we saw in both games was an ability by the Rams' defense to force Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold into mistakes. Six of Darnold's 14 interceptions in 2025 came against Los Angeles.
This is a game that could truly go either way, but the prediction here is that Chris Shula's defense and the return of receiver Davante Adams give L.A. the edge and a razor-thin margin of victory.
Score Prediction: Rams 35, Seahawks 34
