NFL Playoff Bracket 2026, Super Bowl Scenarios, Odds Before Divisional Round
The 2025-26 edition of the NFL's Wild Card Weekend was one of the best in recent memory. While not every game was a memorable one, most came down to the wire in epic fashion.
Now, the six winners from Round 1 will join the No. 1 seeds of the AFC and NFC to form the league's final eight bracket. By Monday, only four teams will remain with the chance to reach Super Bowl LX.
Here's a look at the updated consensus Super Bowl odds and everything you need to know about this year's divisional round.

6. Buffalo Bills at 1. Denver Broncos
Saturday, January 17 at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS
5. Houston Texans at 2. New England Patriots
Sunday, January 18 at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN/ABC
The Denver Broncos earned the AFC's No. 1 seed via tiebreakers and enjoyed a bye during the wild-card round. They'll now enjoy a big home-field advantage while hosting the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.
"Home field is important relative to the crowd noise," Broncos head coach Sean Payton said, per ProFootballTalk's Michael David Smith. "I know our crowd will be fantastic."
Buffalo is coming off a close win against the Jacksonville Jaguars and is currently a 1.5-point favorite for one big reason. While the Broncos have a much more complete roster, the Bills have arguably the best quarterback in the playoff field, Josh Allen.
If the Bills can pull off the upset, they'll face the winner of Sunday's matchup between the Houston Texans and New England Patriots. If Denver prevails, it'll remain at home for the AFC Championship Game.
Houston and New England both earned convincing victories in the wild-card round, over the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Chargers, respectively. New England features a complete team and an MVP candidate in quarterback Drake Maye. Houston has had its share of offensive issues, but its defense is truly championship-caliber.
The Texans are three-point underdogs, but they can pull out the win if they can smother Maye the way they smothered Aaron Rodgers on Monday night. Houston and New England can each host the AFC title game with a win and a Bills victory. Otherwise, the winner of Sunday's matchup will visit Denver next weekend.
NFC Divisional Round

6. San Francisco 49ers at 1. Seattle Seahawks
Saturday, January 17 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox
5. Los Angeles Rams at 2. Chicago Bears
Sunday, January 18 at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC
The Seattle Seahawks looked like the best team in football for most of the regular-season. However, they did split the series with the rival San Francisco 49ers, who they'll see again on Saturday.
It's worth noting that Seattle won by 10 points in the last meeting, while the 49ers lost star tight end George Kittle to a torn Achilles last weekend. San Francisco is currently a touchdown underdog.
However, rivalry games are often unpredictable, and it wouldn't be a total surprise to see the 49ers win the rubber match. If they do, they'll face either the Los Angeles Rams or the Chicago Bears on the road next weekend. The Seahawks will stay in Seattle with a victory.
If the Rams manage to win their next two games, they'll also play at home in Super Bowl LX, which will be played at Levi's Stadium.
The Bears mounted an 18-point comeback to beat the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round, while the Rams survived a back-and-forth battle with the upstart Carolina Panthers.
Caleb Williams and Chicago's offense have taken off under first-year head coach Ben Johnson, while Sean McVay, Matthew Stafford, and the Rams look like the best squad L.A. has had since its 2021 Super Bowl run.
Los Angeles is currently a four-point road favorite. The winner of Sunday's matchup will either host the 49ers or visit the Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.
