Eagles Rumors on Sean Mannion, Josh Grizzard and Latest Names in OC Search

Scott PolacekJan 29, 2026

The Philadelphia Eagles need a new offensive coordinator after letting go of Kevin Patullo, and their search has stretched into yet another week as their list of potential replacements continues to grow.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles requested to interview Denver Broncos passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Davis Webb for their OC job.

According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the Eagles will also interview Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion in person this week after he previously had a virtual interview.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard will do the same:

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport previously reported on Monday that the Eagles interviewed Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Frank Smith.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini also reported on Monday that the Eagles "are set to speak with Houston Texans QBs coach Jerrod Johnson." Russini added that "Johnson spent one season in 2020 with Nick Sirianni on Indy's offensive staff."

Also on Monday, Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Declan Doyle withdrew his name from consideration for the Eagles' OC job, per Russini.

The Eagles have been linked to a wide-ranging list of names after parting ways with Patullo, including Indianapolis Colts OC Jim Bob Cooter:

Russini reported Jan. 14 that Philadelphia started "reaching out to candidates" and has Brian Daboll and former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel "at the top of their list." However, McDaniel took the offensive coordinator role with the Los Angeles Chargers, according to Schefter, and Daboll joined the Tennessee Titans.

Philadelphia moved on from Patullo after just one season as the offensive coordinator, which ended with a Wild Card loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The offense was 19th in points and 24th in yards, which prevented the team from winning back-to-back Super Bowls despite having an excellent defense.

But there is plenty of talent in place with Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown, among others, so hiring the right offensive coordinator is imperative.
