Kevin Patullo Out as Eagles OC, Who Are Top Replacement Targets for Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley?
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni announced Tuesday that beleaguered offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo will no longer be operating in that role, though it is unclear if he will remain with the team in a different role.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The news doesn't come as much of a surprise after the offense was inconsistent and underachieved throughout the 2025 season, culminating in a rough performance on Sunday during a 23-19 loss against the injury-depleted San Francisco 49ers.
Do not expect the Eagles to promote internally to replace Patullo. Past instances of doing so in the Sirianni era (Brian Johnson in 2023, Patullo in 2025) have gone poorly, while the team has thrived under OCs like Shane Steichen and Kellen Moore (who both left to become head coaches).
But there are some big names and proven offensive minds who could make sense taking over Philly's offense, which isn't lacking for talent. And the Eagles are arguably the top destination for prospective offensive coordinators outside of perhaps only the Detroit Lions.
Mike McDaniel is going to be the first name on the lips of Eagles fans. Whether Jalen Hurts' limitations as a passer would be the ideal fit for McDaniel's passing scheme is debatable, though he got the absolute most out of Tua Tagovailoa early in their time together.
McDaniel very well could take a head-coaching position, however.
Baltimore's Todd Monken is another interesting option. His experience with a mobile quarterback like Lamar Jackson and ability to blend his downfield passing concepts with a physical run game would make a lot of sense in Philly.
Kliff Kingsbury has even more experience operating with mobile quarterbacks, and his no-huddle system would add a new dynamic to Philly's offense, though Washington's offense took a step back in 2025 even when Jayden Daniels was healthy.
The Eagles will likely cast a wide search, perhaps looking into positional coaches and up-and-coming names who might be ready to make the jump into the OC role. That's a bit riskier than a known commodity, however, and the Eagles can't afford to get this appointment wrong for a second straight season.
