Anez Cooper NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for New York Jets IOL

The New York Jets selected Miami IOL Anez Cooper with the No. 188 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Anez Cooper is a stout, physical presence with functional play-strength, who maximizes his length and fires his feet to stall defenders early in the rep. However, mediocre movement skills limit his ability to sustain and leave him vulnerable to clean losses when isolated in pass protection. He profiles best as a swing guard, with low-end starter upside in a downhill, inside zone/gap-based offense that leans on play-action.

Cooper is a 6'6", 334-pound guard prospect, who entered the Miami program as a 3-star recruit in the 2022 class.

The former Hurricane became a starter as a true freshman during the team's final four games and capped off his career as a three-year starter at right guard. He earned second-team All-ACC honors during the 2025 campaign.
