Giants Rumors on Eli Manning, Brian Daboll Recruiting John Harbaugh to Pair with Jaxson Dart
As John Harbaugh decides where his next stop will be following his exit from the Baltimore Ravens, he reportedly is hearing some influence from those in the New York Giants' circle.
Per Ian O'Connor of The Athletic, franchise legend Eli Manning and former head coach Brian Daboll have called Harbaugh, giving him a "strong recommendation" on quarterback Jaxson Dart and the Giants.
Harbaugh reportedly has heard from just about every team with a head coaching vacancy since the Ravens fired him, but a few have emerged as favorites to land the veteran head coach.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that the Giants, Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins are seen as Harbaugh's top options.
The Falcons announced Monday that they have completed an interview with Harbaugh, but O'Connor noted that Harbaugh met with the team virtually rather than in person.
O'Connor also reported earlier this week that Harbaugh had an "informal meeting" with Giants executive Chris Mara on Sunday. According to O'Connor, Harbaugh is "very interested" in the job in New York.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Harbaugh "has been conducting preliminary and extensive phone calls with the Giants, Titans, Browns, Raiders and Cardinals."
It's easy to see why a team like the Giants would be so interested in Harbaugh after the way things have gone over the last decade-plus. Since its Super Bowl victory in 2011, New York has reached the postseason just two times and has seen a plethora of head coaches come and go during that time.
Harbaugh spent 18 years with the Ravens, reaching the playoffs 12 times and leading the team to a Super Bowl victory in 2012. While he hasn't had a ton of postseason success in recent years, he's been a model of consistency for nearly two decades, which could be exactly what the Giants need.
Landing Harbaugh won't be easy given all of the other interest in him, but the Giants at least have a few people campaigning for them in Manning and Daboll, who was fired in November.
