Ravens Owner Reveals John Harbaugh's Fate as HC If Tyler Loop Had Made Playoff-Clinching FG
The writing was on the wall for the Baltimore Ravens to fire head coach John Harbaugh for quite some time, but many are still wondering what would've happened if Tyler Loop made the game-winning field goal that would've clinched the AFC North title.
However, it sounds like a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18 and a trip to the playoffs wouldn't have done much for Harbaugh's fate. Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti was asked on Tuesday if Loop making the field goal would've kept Harbaugh as Baltimore's head coach.
"For a week," Bisciotti told reporters in a blunt response.

NFL coach calls CFB transfer players 'clowns'

Final Consensus NFL Mock Draft 📝
The Ravens finished the 2025 campaign with an 8-9 record after their 26-24 loss to the Steelers in the regular-season finale. Star quarterback Lamar Jackson drove the team down the field to set up Loop for a 44-yard game-winner, but his kick was off the mark from the moment it left his foot.
After parting ways with Harbaugh after 18 seasons, the Ravens will certainly be hoping to find a new head coach who can forge a similar path of longevity and success. Baltimore hasn't won a Super Bowl title since 2012, and the team definitely needs to maximize its window of contention while Jackson is on the roster.
The Ravens have one of the most intriguing head coach openings this offseason, so it will be interesting to see which direction they go as they search for Harbaugh's replacement.
