Pittsburgh enters its draft season with a handful of questions to answer about its roster.
The Steelers could be forced into the quarterback market if Aaron Rodgers retires, or if tells the team that he has one more year left.
The AFC North champion might have a change in direction as well depending on what happens with Mike Tomlin after yet another postseason defeat.
At least Pittsburgh can say it owns its first-round pick, though, which is something the Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars can't brag about.
Green Bay's first-rounded belongs to the Dallas Cowboys, while Jacksonville's pick was sent to the Cleveland Browns.
The Carolina Panthers are in possession of the highest draft pick among the wild-card losers. The NFC South champion had the worst regular-season record among the teams that lost over the last three days.
The final eight positions in the first round will be determined over the next three rounds.
The four divisional round losers will be sorted from worst to best record to fill picks Nos. 25 through 28. The conference championship game losers pick 29th and 30th, the Super Bowl runner-up owns the 31st pick and the Super Bowl champion takes hold of the No. 32 selection.
