Eagles' Nick Sirianni Defends A.J. Brown After Drops vs. 49ers, 'Best Hands I've Ever Seen'
After wide receiver A.J. Brown had a handful of drops in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni came to his defense.
Sirianni said Brown has "the best hands" he's ever seen and noted that the wind impacted the ball in the air.
"He's got the best hands I've ever seen. The way he catches the ball, the amount of different types of catches that he's made. When you get as many targets as he does, you're going to have some drops," Sirianni said, per ESPN's Tim McManus. "I know he will beat himself up on that."

Brown had two drops in the 23-19 wild-card loss, which McManus noted was a career high. He finished with 25 receiving yards on three receptions.
Brown's drops were far from the only reason for the loss, but Eagles fans will certainly remember them heading into a long offseason.
