Justin Herbert, Harbaugh, Chargers Called Out by NFL Fans in Loss to Maye, Patriots in Playoffs
For the third time in the last four years, the Los Angeles Chargers' season came to an end in the wild-card round.
The No. 7-seeded Chargers fell to the No. 2-seeded New England Patriots 16-3 on Sunday in an abysmal showing from Los Angeles' offense.

Quarterback Justin Herbert struggled in the loss, throwing for just 159 yards on 19-of-31 passing. He had 57 rushing yards, but failed to find the endzone and fumbled twice, losing one of them.
His struggles weren't entirely on him, though. The Chargers' offensive line was no match for the Patriots' defensive front, as they gave up six sacks for 39 yards.
After a crushing ending to the season, fans called out Herbert, head coach Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers.
The Chargers' defense did its part for most of the night, but the offense couldn't hold its own. Now, Los Angeles is heading to the offseason with plenty of problems to address.
Chief among those problems is the offensive line.
