NFL Playoff Picture 2026, AFC, NFC Brackets, Scenarios and Championship Odds
The Los Angeles Rams may not play a single home game in the NFL postseason, but they have the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl.
The Rams open up their Super Bowl quest on Saturday afternoon against the NFC South champion Carolina Panthers. Los Angeles is the biggest favorite on the wild-card weekend slate.
The path to the Super Bowl in the NFC will become much clearer by the end of Saturday. The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears square off in Saturday night's game.
Sunday's wild-card slate is headlined by a pair of AFC matchups, including the clash between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Buffalo owns the third-lowest odds to win the Super Bowl among the seven AFC playoff teams.
Josh Allen and Co. could play either the Denver Broncos or New England Patriots if they win in Jacksonville. Denver and New England are the only AFC teams with lower Super Bowl odds than the Bills.

NFC Playoff Scenarios
2 of 3.jpg)
No. 5 Los Angeles Rams at No. 4 Carolina (Saturday, 4:30 p.m. ET, Fox)
No. 7 Green Bay at No. 2 Chicago (Saturday, 8 p.m. ET, Prime Video)
No. 6 San Francisco at No. 3 Philadelphia (Sunday, 4:30 p.m. ET, Fox)
The NFC playoff scenarios for the divisional round will be easy to figure out by the end of Saturday's play.
The easiest scenario in play involves a Green Bay win at Soldier Field. If that happens, the Packers go to Seattle and the two other wild-card winners face each other.
Los Angeles, who has the second-lowest Super Bowl odds among NFC teams, can play on the road in either Seattle, Chicago or Philadelphia with a win over the Panthers.
The only way the Rams play at home in the divisional round is if the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay both win. The 49ers would visit the Rams in that scenario.
Chicago clinches a second playoff home game if it beats the Packers. The Bears would play the highest remaining seed in the divisional round.
The Philadelphia Eagles should be rooting against the Bears. If Green Bay wins, Philadelphia can secure another playoff home contest with a Sunday win over San Francisco.
AFC Playoff Scenarios

No. 6 Buffalo at No. 3 Jacksonville (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS)
No. 7 Los Angeles Chargers at No. 2 New England (Sunday, 8 p.m. ET, NBC)
No. 5 Houston at No. 4 Pittsburgh (Monday, 8 p.m. ET, ESPN)
The Buffalo Bills' path to the Super Bowl will likely include three road games in the AFC.
Buffalo can only host a playoff game if it faces the Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC Championship Game.
Jacksonville can't be counted out at all with the way it played over the final two months of the regular season.
If the Jaguars beat the Bills, they will either travel to New England, or host the Houston-Pittsburgh winner. The Chargers would go to Denver if they beat the Patriots in any scenario.
Buffalo will head to Denver if it wins on Sunday and the Patriots then beat the Chargers. New England would host the Houston-Pittsburgh winner in that scenario.
